Glinka’s music hall
Glinka’s music hall is another sight of Zaporozhie. The architecture is rather elegant and calm. It corresponds to the general architectural style of the city in the 1930s. The philharmonic building keeps looking very attractive to present day. It has excellent proportions. This building is the first experiment of building two halls (for cinema and for concert) under one roof. Despite the fact that the building is 50 years old the concert hall is considered to be one of the best concert halls in Europe.
The central highway of Zaporozhie – prospekt Lenina – is the longest avenue in Europe. Its length is about 12km.
