Early Fall Tour 2005 October 6 - 15
October is over. Working days are passing one by one. We, Anastasia assistants Olga, Irina and me are working in the office, busy with our everyday tasks. But very often smiles brighten our faces. At these moments we are remembering the events of Anastasia Moscow tour.
The first event we gathered for all together was the first night dinner. Everybody was full of expectations. Forty three men from different states came to see Moscow with its ancient Kremlin and churches, to get to know new people and of course, to try and find the only woman who would be the Love of the whole life.
And it was a pleasure for me to see how those eyes full of hope turned to be the happiest eyes in the world. I enjoyed communicating with everybody: adventurous Jim, caring Dan and many others.
Jim decided to prove us he would find the place where his lady was waiting for him. He went down to metro and traveled there alone for three hours looking for the place of the date. Later a group of guys followed his example. They also decided to explore the underground. What did they do? They chose the line and counted stops to find the direction. When we asked them why they didn’t ask for our help they answered “We, proud Americans, don’t ask for help!”
Dan took care of his Luba all the time: What would you like to do? Take my hand, Dear. It was so touching! I was always glad to help Egon who wanted to know our opinion about several beautiful ladies who got interested in him. Maria with whom he met at the social in Tver came on the last evening to see him.
I’ll never forget a little walk about Moscow one night with Don, Robert, Darryl and Daniel and eating pizza in a cozy small restaurant. That was maybe one of the most amazing coincidences of the tour. The atmosphere of ever-busy Moscow was friendly. One could feel presence of in the dark air. The small pizza restaurant where we came to have a little snack and talk was celebrating his third anniversary that day. The hall was decorated with air balloons, lights and flowers, barmen were treating guests to some Champaign. At the next table there was a merry company. It turned out that one of the ladies had a birthday too. And she was so beautiful that one of our guys immediately fell in love with her. Evening Moscow, lights and beautiful lady – what else one needs to fall in love?
We were trying to do our best to organize dates. I was happy to see the lovely couples. And it was a pity that the tour came to the end. We had to separate Keith, James, Jim, Lee, Danny and other guys with their ladies and to see them off to the airport. We were lucky and Moscow gave us a great weather during the tour. But on the day of the departure the sky was grey and cloudy and it was raining. Guys – tired and full of impressions and thoughts – were on the bus to leave Moscow. And it was hard for Irina and me to say “Goodbye” to all those men who became our friends.
“Bye guys! Even the city cries because you are leaving it. It means that we’ll be always glad to see you again!”
